Jedzenie niesamowicie pyszne,polecam każdemu i nie zastanawiać się bo gwarantuje że jest malo takich miejsc gdzie wszystko tak dobrze smakuje i nie jest to cena z kosmosu jam za taka jakość, dodatkowo jest super podane na płytach. Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Malta and an absolute must-try. The food is simply divine, with prices that are very reasonable for the quality you get. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is warm and authentic, and you genuinely feel transported to the Balkans the moment you walk in. Pljeskavica is incredibly unique, arguably even better than what you’ll find in the Balkans and the suckling pig is outstanding, perfectly cooked and irresistibly crispy (served on weekends). Every salad and dessert we tried was delicious as well. The servers are friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful, happily guiding you through the menu and recommending dishes based on your preferences. What a great evening at Balkankan. We started with a selection of meze, pindzur, Macedonian salad, traditional peppers and grilled zucchini... all with proper Balkan rakijas. Everything was fresh, full of flavour and tasted homemade but most importantly authentic. The highlight of the night was the roasted piglet. Honestly, one of the best we’ve had anywhere in the Mediterranean. Crispy on the outside, tender and full of flavour. Absolutely delicious. The place itself is lovely too. We sat outside by the waterfront, surrounded by greenery, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Great food, generous portions and friendly service. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy your food and take your time. If you’re in Malta and love authentic Balkan food, Balkankan is definitely worth a visit. Balkankan to był zdecydowanie najlepszy wybór. Wspaniałe miejsce i przepyszna kuchnia bałkańska. Gulasz był fenomenalny! Obsługa miła, uśmiechnięta, chętnie doradzi i opowie o poszczególnych daniach. We had a wonderful experience at BalkanKan, a fantastic traditional Macedonian restaurant. We visited with our family to celebrate a birthday, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food was delicious, with an excellent selection of authentic Macedonian specialties and fantastic grilled dishes. Every plate was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The portions were generous, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The service was also excellent, friendly, attentive, and professional, which made our family celebration even more special. The warm and welcoming atmosphere added to the whole experience. We truly enjoyed our evening at BalkanKan and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Macedonian cuisine, great grilled specialties, and genuine hospitality. Wir kamen durch Zufall auf dieses Restaurant, weil es in der Nähe von unserem Hotel war. Schon bei der Reservierung (würde ich hier definitiv empfehlen) für den Abend, wurden wir sehr höflich empfangen und mit uns gescherzt. Am Abend wurde der erste Eindruck nochmal verstärkt. Die Herzlichkeit mit der man empfangen wird, die schnelle Bedienung und das sehr gute Essen, dass kann man nur empfehlen!! Wir kommen wieder ~ Oliver W

Encontramos el lugar ya que se encuentra cerca del hotel donde estamos alojados y cierran tarde lo que nos permitió cenar tranquilos. Svaka čast momcima koji rade, izuzetno su ljubazni i atmosfera je prava domaćinska. Hrana je vrhunska, ali ono što je najbitnije – imaju pravu rakiju! Uz čašicu dobre rakije i ovakvu uslugu, bukvalno imate osećaj kao da ste na Balkanu, a ne na Malti. Sve preporuke za svakoga ko želi autentičan ukus i pravi merak. ~ Milan M

Prvo i najbitnije HRANA Sve je vrhunski spremljeno i prekasno. Šarka bolja nego u Makedoniji,domaća kobasica prava vrhunska. Sve u svemu fenomenalno. Drugo osoblje Osoblje ljubazno prijatno i vrhunski profesionalno. Učinili su da se na tren osetim kao da sam na Balkanu. We went to BalkanKan without a reservation, just for a quick lunch (unfortunately), but it was already clear this is a place meant to be enjoyed slowly. The food was excellent and truly homely. They prepared an amazing stew along with a selection of traditional starters, all perfectly accompanied by traditional drinks like rakia. Everything tasted authentic and full of flavour. The décor is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel comfortable right away. On top of that, the staff are super friendly, efficient, and attentive. This restaurant impressed me from start to finish. There were eight of us, and we had made a reservation in advance. From the very beginning until the end, the staff showed a high level of professionalism and friendliness. At both the beginning and the end of the evening, we were treated to rakija, which was a really nice gesture. For my main dish, I ordered pork neck medallions. The meat had been marinated for over three days, and it was incredibly juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Some of my colleagues tried the pljeskavica served in a special type of bread. I also had a taste, and it was truly unforgettable. The portions were very generous—so much so that most of us couldn’t finish everything. We also tried the salads, which were very tasty as well. For dessert, we had pancakes with jam and Nutella, which were a perfect sweet ending to the meal. Overall, everything was excellent, and we will definitely come back. What a place! Our family were here at Christmas and eat at this restaurant three evening for dinner. Not only was the food wonderful but the wine recommended and outstanding service by Jordan we have never come across before as he went through the menu and recommended items from it I can honestly say I probably won’t taste again unless I revisit this restaurant. Personale gentilissimo e accogliente. Ci siamo fermati per un aperitivo ma siamo rimasti tutta la sera facendo anche cena con tanti piatti consigliati dal proprietario. Buonissimo il vino è buonissimo il cibo. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo ~ sara
